IACA’s Annual Conference on
Global Trends and Challenges in Preventing and Combating Corruption
IACA announces a call for high-quality empirical research papers in English focused on topics related to:
- the role of AI and other emerging technologies in preventing and combating corruption;
- integrity, anti-corruption, and compliance in sport;
- safeguarding children and youth in sport;
- integrity, anti-corruption, and compliance in the humanitarian aid sector;
- stolen asset recovery, return, and management.
Selected papers will be reviewed according to the IACA’s internal procedures, and will be published in the IACA Research Paper Series.
The authors of the four best papers will have the opportunity to present their work to the international anti-corruption community at IACA’s 2026 Annual Conference.

The International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) is committed to promoting effective and efficient anti-corruption education, training, and technical assistance. We actively seek opportunities to collaborate with partners through EU tenders and calls for proposals to further our mission and impact.
IACA partners with WEF’s PAC Initiative
Corruption Transformation Map of the World Economic Forum (WEF) was developed as a joint activity between the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) and the Partnering Against Corruption Initiative (PACI) in 2020. Mr. Pawan Kumar Sinha, Director of Academic Programmes at IACA, led the development of the project at the Academy. IACA, with its expertise in anti-corruption education, training and research, was the co-curator of the map till 2023.
The WEF’s Transformation Maps present insights written by experts along with machine-curated content. Together, they allow users to visualise and understand more than 250 topics and their connections, helping leaders make more informed decisions.
